PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffraction grating a spectrometer which can use the same housing, as it is, even if spectrometers having different wavelength ranges measured are to be manufactured. SOLUTION: A grating normal line A' on a grating surface provided on a top surface of a substrate of a diffraction grating 12 is inclined, with respect to a bottom surface of the substrate, so that an angle of incidence of impinging light can be controlled. Consequently, one housing can be used, as it is, for manufacturing spectrometers different by wavelength ranges to be measured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
