PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and facilitate operation when changing over a display mode. SOLUTION: A display part 107 changes over a display mode A to display the number of steps to a display mode B to display a walking distance in response to that a key input means 106 is changeover-operated. Thereafter, when the key input means 106 is changeover-operated in the display mode B, the display part performs a display changeover to the display mode A to display the number of the steps, when a clocking means 105 completes prescribed time clocking, and performs a display changeover to a display mode C to display past walking data, when the clocking means 105 does not complete the prescribed time clocking.
