<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a multi-string conveyor to be easily and inexpensively manufactured. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A device 50 for manually distributing medicines includes: a preliminary distribution cassette 20 having multiple multi-row and multi-string regions 22, and to be drawable from a case body; the multi-string conveyor 80 having multiple compartments 93 arranged by multi-row and multi-string whose number is larger than those of the regions 22, arranged inside the case body, and, collectively receiving the medicines from the preliminary distribution cassette 20; and a single-string conveyer 40 having one-string compartments by the number larger than that of the rows and receiving the medicines by each portion for one string from the multi-string conveyor 80 inside the case body. The multi-string conveyor 80 is obtained by disposing compartment string members 90, where the number is larger than that of the strings of the regions in the preliminary distribution cassette, on a pair of endless belts 81 which are arranged in parallel so as to be driven together. The compartment string members 90 are obtained by integrally forming the compartments 93 for the portion of one string of the multi-string conveyor 80. The compartments 93 have truncated shapes with wide openings and small inner bottoms, where longitudinally linear projections (95) are formed on the inner surfaces and the inner bottoms have rough faces.
