The invention relates to a method of triggering an operation (OP) in a mobile terminal (MT), comprising steps of reception by the mobile terminal by way of a communication network (MNT), of a message for triggering an operation (DOP), of transmission, following the receipt of the triggering message (DOP), by the mobile terminal (MT) to a server (VSRV) of an identifier (CID) relating to an operation to be triggered on the terminal, received with the triggering message, of transmission, if the identifier corresponds to an authorized identifier, by the server to the mobile terminal of a positive response message (REP) authorizing the triggering of the operation (OP), and of triggering of the operation by the mobile terminal only if the mobile terminal receives the positive response message.
