<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an alkylene oxide addition product, in which a catalyst and polyalkylene glycol are easily separated and removed. <P>SOLUTION: The method of producing the alkylene oxide addition product includes: a step (a) of obtaining an alkylene oxide addition crude material by the addition-reaction of alkylene oxide with an active hydrogen-containing compound and/or a fatty acid alkyl ester in the presence of the alkoxylation solid catalyst; a step (b) of adding at least water and one kind selected from polyphosphoric acid and the salt, organic phosphoric acid and the salt, polyhydric carbonic acid and the salt and the mixture into the alkylene oxide addition crude material to obtain a mixture of alkylene oxide addition crude material containing 5-15 mass% water and the acid and/or the salt; and a step (c) of separating and removing the alkoxylation solid catalyst from the alkylene oxide addition crude material in the mixture obtained in the step (b). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
