<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive transfer recording medium solving problems such as nonuniformity of a surface and the formation of thermal creases. <P>SOLUTION: A thermal transfer recording medium includes a thermosensitive sublimation transfer coloring material layer containing at least sublimation dye and a binder, on one face of a base material film. The intrinsic viscosity of the binder of the thermosensitive sublimation transfer coloring material layer is in a range of 0.5 dL/g to 1.5 dL/g when measured at 25°C in a mixed solvent containing methylene chloride, 1,1,2-trichloroethane, toluene and ethanol at a weight ratio of 5:2:2:1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
