<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clarification instrument which is improved in convenience when installed indoor etc. by effectively exerting a function of photocatalyst support boards. <P>SOLUTION: The housing of the clarification instrument 1a is provided with a body part 2, a ventilation cover part 3, and an installation cover part 4. The body part 2 is provided with ventilation housing surfaces 5a, 5b and 5c which enables inflow and outflow of air; and the ventilation cover part 3 is provided with a ventilation housing surface 6. Inside of the body part 2 is a hollow part which can house three photocatalyst support boards therein so as to constitute a right triangular prism. In the installation cover part 4, a through-hole 8 allowing a screw to pass therethrough is formed.
