<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face mask having excellent fitness, and water absorbency: and to provide a method for producing a nonwoven fabric suitable therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The face mask uses a nonwoven fabric obtained by forming cross-laid webs 2 with hydrophilic synthetic short fibers, and cellulosic short fibers, laminating the plurality of cross-laid webs 2, providing a cross-laid web, and entangling the web with water streams. The fibers are crossed at 90°. PET treated with a durable hydrophilic finish oil is used as the synthetic short fibers, and rayon is used as the cellulosic fibers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
