<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect at the present time battery voltage in predetermined time after the present time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An engine control system 10 is provided with a permanent magnet type AC generator 20 rotated in synchronism with the crankshaft 42 of an engine, and a battery 40 charged with electric power generated by the AC generator 20. An ECU 50 acquires the battery voltage VB detected by a voltage detection circuit 48 in the predetermined rotation angle position of the crankshaft 42, and stores the acquired battery voltage VB as the battery voltage corresponding to the rotation angle position in acquiring. The ECU 50 predicts the battery voltage in the predetermined time after that based on a relation between the stored rotation angle position of the crankshaft 42 and the battery voltage.
