PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cover a connecting point between a connector member and a conductor from an armature with a resin material without making the resin material flow out. SOLUTION: In a motor for use in a recording disk drive unit, the connector member 25 which connects the armature and a circuit board is attached to a base face 211, and an armature connecting part 253 of the connector member 25 is accommodated in a recess 215 formed in the salient central region 213 of the base face 211. A gap 40 between internal side faces 2152 at both sides of the recess 215 and external side faces 2524 at both sides of the connector member 25 is gradually expanded toward a boundary 216 of the central region 213, and therefore, when imparting the resin material 26 to the armature connecting part 253 at which the wiring of the connector member 25 and the conductor of the armature are connected, the armature connecting part 253 can be covered with the resin material 26 without making the resin material 26 flow out to the boundary 216 side.
