<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power line communication apparatus for improving reception performance by reducing the influence of noise with a simple configuration. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A power line communication apparatus 1 communicates with another apparatus via a power line through which power is supplied. The power line communication apparatus 1 includes: an extraction and amplification unit 202 which extracts a communication signal from the power and the communication signal received via the power line and amplifies at least the communication signal between the power and the communication signal received via the power line; a communication signal processing unit 201 for processing the communication signal extracted and amplified by the extraction and amplification unit 202; and a substrate B21 on which the extraction and amplification unit 202 and the communication signal processing unit 201 are mounted and which includes restriction sections B1, B2 for restricting transfer of noise between the extraction and amplification unit 202 and the communication signal processing unit 201.
