<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make efficient use of a memory and efficient processing of data compatible, when dealing a single data stored to be divided into a plurality of unoccupied area fragments distributed on a main memory by fragmentation, as a continuous data on a virtual address space. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This data processor includes a CPU for processing the data according to an application, and the main memory for storing the data. The CPU includes an operating system having a file system for controlling the data processing and for an external storage, and having a function for mapping a file on a storage into the continuous virtual address space of the CPU, and a driver for setting a virtual storage in stead of the external storage in the file system, when storing the single round data to be divided into the plurality of unoccupied area fragments distributed on the main memory, in the data processing, so as to access the fragmented data as the file on the virtual storage, by the file system.
