A FILTER FOR A HAND DRYER

There is provided a filter arrangement (100) for a hand dryer (10), the filter arrangement (100)comprising a filter housing (106) removably insertable into a hand dryer (10), a particulate filter (120, 122) and a further filter (108) located within the filter housing (106), wherein the particulate filter (120, 122) is located within a cartridge (104) which is removably received in the filter housing (106). Byproviding the particulate filter (120, 122) within a removable cartridge (104), the particulate filter (120, 122) can be easily removed from,and inserted back into, the filter housing (106). The above arrangement reduces the size of the parts which have to be cleaned or replaced when the particulate filter (120, 122) requires cleaning, resulting in cost and time benefits for the user.
