<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery with superior safety capable of suppressing breakage of a separator due to a burr occurring in a cut surface of a positive electrode collector or a negative electrode collector, and breakage of the separator or battery internal short circuit caused by coming off of one part of the burr by providing a configuration of covering a cut surface of a positive electrode plate or a negative electrode plate by an insulator layer, capable of suppressing internal short circuit of the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate by preventing breakage of the separator caused by coming off of one part of an electrode mixture layer and intrusion into an interior of an electrode group, and capable of avoiding a situation of causing thermal runaway due to generation of heat. <P>SOLUTION: The internal short circuit of the positive electrode plate 4 and the negative electrode plate 14 are suppressed by providing a configuration of covering the cut surface or an application end face of the positive electrode plate 4 or the negative electrode plate 14 by the positive electrode insulator layer 3 or the negative electrode insulator layer 13, and preventing intrusion of cutting burrs and foreign matter caused by coming off into an interior of the wound or stacked electrode group and breakage of the separator 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
