<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, in a conventional technology, a pipe slides while it is firmly pressed against a side surface of a pressure during the bending work of the pipe, the strong drawing force is applied to the pipe, and a trouble of degrading the bending accuracy of the pipe occurs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A pipe bending apparatus bends a pipe P by turning a roll 1 and a clamp 2. A pressure 3 movably holds the pipe P along X-direction while preventing the pipe P from being turned. A plurality of rollers 5 are provided on the pressure 3 to support the pipe P along X-direction in a rolling manner. Thus, while bending the pipe P, the drawing force to be applied to the pipe P can be suppressed, and degradation of the bending accuracy of the pipe P by the drawing force can be prevented.
