PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair for which the exposed part of a back rod is easily covered with a single back rod cover in a simple structure and the back rod cover is easily positioned and mounted without executing any work to the back rod. SOLUTION: The back rod cover 15 includes an upper cover part 16 which is capable of covering a front direction bend part 11a extended downwards from a back pad 12 in the back rod 11 and includes an almost horizontal upper piece 16a at the upper end, and a lower cover part 18 which is extended to the front from the lower end of the upper cover part 16 and is capable of covering the front direction part of the back rod 11. By fitting the back rod 11 to an insertion hole 21 provided on the upper piece 16a and press-fitting the opening of the front end part of the back rod 11 to an insertion piece 25 provided on a lower direction piece 18a at the front end part of the lower cover part 18, the back rod cover 15 is mounted on the exposed part of the back rod 11.
