CHARGE-CONTROLLED URETHANE FOAM, AND TONER TRANSFER ROLLER USING THE URETHANE FOAM

Provided are a charge-controlled urethane foam, which can sufficiently prevent the influences of a charge caused by the friction between the toner on the surface layer of a toner transfer roller and a developing roller, thereby acquiring a satisfactory image stably at a low cost, and a toner transfer roller using the urethane foam.  The charge-controlled urethane foam is prepared by impregnating a surface layer with the charge controlling agent which is positioned closer to a negative side or a positive side in an electrification rank than a substrate urethane foam.  In the toner transfer roller, the charge-controlled urethane foam is borne on the outer circumference of a shaft.
