The heating base (1) has a metallic plate with a diffusion plate (2), and a pipe heating body (3), which is heat conductively arranged at a lower side of the diffusion plate. Two separate temperature monitoring elements e.g. fuse (4), negative temperature coefficient (NTC) element (5) or positive temperature coefficient (PTC) element, are heat conductively connected with the metallic plate and/or the body. A common spring plate (6) is supported against a cover (7) of the metallic plate and fixes and presses the monitoring elements against the metallic and/or diffusion plates.
