<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for operation of an internal combustion engine for performing regeneration operation of a particulate removing filter regarding the combustion engine, wherein disadvantages in conventional technology are solved. <P>SOLUTION: The control method for a diesel engine equipped with a common-rail injection system and a particulate removing filter comprises: a step of performing at least one main-injection supply for fuel supply into a cylinder for causing combustion reaction in the cylinder; and a step of performing post-injection supply in order to supply and inject a specified total quantity of fuel into the cylinder. The post-injection supply is separated from the main injection supply by a specified interval-time such that the fuel injected and supplied in the post-injection supply does not take part in the combustion reaction. This method comprises further the step of dividing the post-injection supply into a plurality of separate post-injection supply portions (POST1, POST2, POST3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
