<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for a section determined to include a frame of a search destination coincident with a search source image from moving images of the search destination. <P>SOLUTION: A search part 80 uses a frame constituting a moving image of a search source as a search source image, and calculates an index value representing the degree of coincidence with the search source image for respective frames constituting a moving image of a search destination, searches, as a first search destination section, for a section determined to include a frame of the search destination coincident with the search source image from the moving image of the search destination based on the index value; a section determination part 84 carries out predetermined calculation, and searches, based on the calculation result thereof, for a second search destination section being a section determined to include a unit image of the search destination coincident with the search source image and narrower than the first search destination section.
