<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce damage of a pedestrian by easing impact with respect to the pedestrian in a collision of a vehicle with a pedestrian. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle headlight is provided with a lamp housing 2 having screw support parts 6, 6, a cover 3 blocking a front face opening of the lamp housing, an optical axis adjusting mechanism 15 having adjusting screws 16, 16 rotatably supported in the screw support parts of the lamp housing 4, and a lamp unit 10 disposed in an interior of lamp outer casing formed by the lamp housing and the cover and supported so as to tilt with respect to the lamp outer casing by the optical axis adjusting mechanism.
