<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a multilayered structure which is free from any considerations over environments and economy, and shows excellent adhesion with other members, printability, coating characteristics, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the multilayered structure involves the following processes (1) to (3). The process (1) is to form a surface treated layer precursor 1 through a flaming treatment by bringing a flame generated by burning a mixed gas containing a metallic alkoxide and/or an alkyl metal compound as well as a combustible gas, into contact with at least, one surface of a base layer. The process (2) is to clean the surface treated layer precursor 1, using a polar solvent and form a surface treated layer precursor 2.
