PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to reliably transmit the user's desired data through simple operation, in data transmission/reception processings in near-field communication. SOLUTION: When data have already been displayed on a display means upon the establishment of communication with an external device, the communication device automatically transmits the data displayed on the display means to the external device; and when the data to be displayed on the display means, after the establishment of the communication, are modified, the communication device transmits the data being displayed, to the external device according to the instruction of the transmission.
