<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine working machine equipped with a large-capacity fuel tank which can suppress the height and can be downsized with a simple structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A working machine (a generator 3) and diesel engine 2 are provided to the top of a base 5. A fuel tank 11 and dike 12 are provided to the bottom of the base 5. A frame body 5a having a coupling piece in a horizontal direction and a reinforcing piece bent downward from an inside end of the coupling piece is provided to an outer periphery of the base 5. The mounting part in a horizontal direction keeping the coupling piece on the top surface thereof to be coupled thereto is provided to the top opening edge of the dike 12 so as to be directed to the opening inside. The coupling piece and mounting part are coupled to each other with the reinforcing piece of the frame body inserted between the inside surface of the dike and the outside surface of the fuel tank.
