<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a salt tile holding implement which enables a salt tile to be surely fixed to a tile base plate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This salt tile holding implement 20 enables the polygonal thick plate-like salt tile 6 composed of a molten molding of refined salt or natural salt to be bonded and fixed to the tile base plate 5 with an adhesive in the state of holding the salt tile 6, when the salt tile 6 is stuck on the tile base plate 5. body plate portions 21 and 41, which are arranged in such a manner as to abut on the one side 6b of the salt tile 6, and locking claws 22 and 42, which are protrusively provided in such a manner as to make an angle θ with respect to the backsides 21a and 41a of the body plate portions 21 and 41 smaller than a right angle, so as to be locked to each end surface 6c of the salt tile 6 from the peripheries of the body plate portions 21 and 41, are integrally formed of plastics.
