PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment apparatus for a container such as a pasteurizer, which is simply structured and reduced in weight and size, so that working such as transportation and installation of the apparatus is facilitated. SOLUTION: The outside frame of this heat treatment apparatus surrounding a shower zone BA provided with a transfer conveyer 2 for transferring a container and a plurality of sprinkler nozzles 12 for sprinkling the container transferred by the conveyer 2, is constituted of: a vertical stand 18 and pillars 20, 24; a horizontal upper rail 21; and a frame 16 consisting of a cross beam 26 and rail support 28, joined together.
