PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve plate device of a compressor unit capable of preventing or suppressing increase in power consumption resulting from that an inlet valve becomes hard to be opened by an adhesive force of lubricating oil, and generation of noises and vibrations. SOLUTION: In the valve plate device, which is arranged between a cylinder head having an intake chamber and a discharge chamber, and a cylinder block having a cylinder bore, of a compressor unit including a valve plate having an intake hole and a discharge hole, an intake valve, and a discharge valve, the valve plate 30 is provided with a communication hole 36 for introducing a gas with higher pressure than the pressure of intake gas within the intake chamber between the valve plate 30 and the intake valve 31, constituting at least a portion of chargeable gas charging chamber, and communicating with surface at a closing valve side of the intake valve.
