The invention concerns in combination, a bone implant, and one or more bioactive substances which reduce inflammation in implant surgery, preferably in the field of dentistry. The implant may also comprise one or more bioactive substance(s) that promote osseointegration of said bone implant. At least one of said one or more bioactive substances may be capable of reducing proliferation, differentiation, and/or activity of osteoclasts, stimulating proliferation of osteoblasts, and/or reducing inflammation. |
