<p>Self-propelled road milling machine whose chassis comprises a milling drum housing (7) including a side with a power take-off able to transmit the rotational motion to a milling drum (3) in a single piece mounted in an axially sliding way and replaceable from the side opposed with respect to the side of said power take-off, said milling drum (3) comprising internal radially protruding fastening elements (23), the rotation of said milling drum (3) being realized by means of a reduction gear (13), said reduction gear (13) being mounted at the end of a hollow spacer supported from the side of said power take-off. The transmission shaft transmitting the rotatory motion from said power take-off to said reduction gear is present in said hollow spacer, said reduction gear (13) being supported on the opposite side with respect to the side of said power take-off by a support (14). The hollow spacer (19) connects the wall of the milling drum housing (7) corresponding to the side of said power take-off to a support flange (21) of said reduction gear (13), said reduction gear (13) being connected to a spacer (22), said spacer (22) engaging with a movable flange of said reduction gear (13), and being connected to said fastening elements (23) and with the support (14) on the wall (29) of said milling drum housing (7), said support (14) including bearings. All are coordinated and structured in such a way that said support flange (21) and said hollow spacer (19) are static with respect to the rotary movement of said milling drum (3).</p> |
