The transport lock i.e. retaining bracket (7), is fixed by metallic fastening units at a transmission flange (3) of a transmission case (2) in which a hydrodynamic torque converter (1) comprising a guiding pin (5) is arranged. The fastening units include screw bolts (8, 9), which penetrate in through-holes of the transport lock, and distance sleeves (10, 11) arranged between the transmission flange and the transport lock. The through-holes are lined with metallic sockets. A central opening (12) accommodates and centers the guide pin.
