The method involves allocating a subscriber (2) to an electronic-mail (e-mail) domain, to which a basic e-mail address is allocated by a mail server (4) for incoming and outgoing e-mails (5). Another e-mail address is requested by the mail server by request signals (10). The latter e-mail address is connected with life span data and is deleted from the mail server after reaching life span conditions connected with the life span data. The e-mail addresses are provided with same domain parts and different local parts. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for providing an electronic-mail (E-mail) address.
