PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a creatinine measuring method, a creatinine measuring device and a creatinine measuring apparatus capable of determining accurately creatinine included in a sample.

SOLUTION: This creatinine measuring method includes processes for: (A) generating a creatinine oxide by direct reaction of creatinine included in the sample with an osmium complex, caused by bringing the sample including creatinine into contact with a reagent for creatinine measurement including the osmium complex whose oxidation-reduction potential at pH7 and 25°C is more positive than 380 mV relative to a silver-silver chloride electrode; (B) measuring optically the reaction in the process (A); and (C) determining the concentration or the amount of creatinine included in the sample based on a measured value in the process (B).
