<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to adjust the position, dimension and clearance of punch holes formed on recording paper by punching while visually confirming them. <P>SOLUTION: The setting device for setting action of the punching device capable of forming a plurality of punch holes along one side of the recording paper by adjusting the position has: a display section for displaying a preview image in which an image of the punch hole is superposed on an image of the printed recording paper (S105); an obtaining section for obtaining instruction for adjusting the position of the punch hole in the displayed preview image from the user (S109); a preview changing section for changing/displaying the preview image according to the obtained instruction (S109); and a setting section for setting the action of the punching device such that the punch hole on the preview image displayed is formed (S111). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
