PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polyamide film that includes characteristics such as electrical insulation, heat resistance, rigidity and the like inherently possessed by the aromatic polyamide film and is useful as a reinforcing film for graphite which is brittle if used alone in particular for the application in a heat dissipating sheet by enhancing thermal conductivity, especially thermal conductivity in the thickness direction. SOLUTION: The aromatic polyamide film having a thermal conductivity in the thickness direction of 0.1 Wm<SP>-1</SP>K<SP>-1</SP>to 0.8 Wm<SP>-1</SP>K<SP>-1</SP>is provided.
