SOLUTION: The detection terminal 100 comprises a number information acquiring part 107 that detects an incoming call of a telephone, a terminal search specifying part 108 that searches for a terminal to be detected located within a range that can be communicated by short-distance radio communication, when an incoming call is detected, a number information acquiring part 107, that acquires a telephone number that makes the detected incoming call, a setting table storing part 103, that stores telephone numbers and electronic mail addresses associated with each other, and an electronic mail generating part 112 and a transmission part 113, that determine an electronic mail address, corresponding to the telephone number acquired by the number information acquiring part 107, by using the association relations stored in the setting table storing part 103 and transmit the search result of the terminal search specifying part 108 to the determined electronic mail address. As a result of this, it is possible to discover a terminal to be detected that exists in a predetermined range from the detection terminal, and to transmit the result by electronic mail.
