PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy location of an intended facility based on displayed facility information. SOLUTION: A facility information display system includes: an input section for inputting a character string representing a search condition; a point search processing means for referring to facility data to search for facilities including the character string when the character string is input; a facility information acquisition means for acquiring facility information of the searched facilities; and a compression processing means for compressing the facility information to be displayed in a search result display screen of a display section 35, based on the character string representing the search condition. The facility information to be displayed in the search result display screen of the display section 35 is compressed based on the character string representing the search condition. Accordingly, if the character string constituting the facility information is long, the facility information can be sufficiently displayed on the search result display screen.
