PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel and camera system, which can further correct the amount of correction to the amount of defocus corresponding to a lens barrel. SOLUTION: The lens barrel (100) is attachable to a camera (200) including: a focus detecting means (28) for detecting the focus adjustment state of an optical system (11); and a focus determining means (29) for determining the focus of an image by the optical system (11) on the basis of the result of the detection made by the focus detecting means (28).
