PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving driving stability and quietness on a dry road surface and a wet road surface in a good balance. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, four main grooves 1a-1d extending in a tire circumferential direction are provided in a tread part T, and five lines of land parts 10-50 are sectioned by these main grooves. The land part 40 sandwiched by the two main grooves 1c, 1d which are outside of a vehicle when the tire is attached to the vehicle includes: a plurality of lug grooves 41 which extend from the main groove 1c at a center side of the tread to the outside of the vehicle so as to terminate in the land part 40; a circumferential thin groove 42 which intermittently extends in the tire circumferential direction without being connected with the lug grooves 41 so as to form a wavy or zigzag shape; and a plurality of width direction thin grooves 43 which extend in the tire width direction between the lug grooves 41 so as to cross the circumferential thin groove 41 without being connected with the circumferential thin groove 41.
