PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slidable tripod type constant velocity joint capable of increasing the maximum joint angle without increasing the entire size of the constant velocity joint. SOLUTION: At the posture in which the axis of rotation of an outer ring 10 is agreed with the axis of rotation of a shaft, in other words, at the joint angle of 0 degree, the axis X1 of a tripod shaft part 22 is set to an opening side of the outer ring 10 from a center part X2 of the width W3 in the direction of the axis of rotation of the outer ring of power transmission surfaces 42 of intermediate members 40a, 40b.
