<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine generator capable of improving the cooling efficiency of an engine without deteriorating portability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The engine generator 10 is provided with heat radiating fins 58, an eighth cooling channel 135, and a lead-out port. The heat radiating fins 58 are provided on a sidewall 57a of a crank case 56 in a vertical direction. The eighth cooling channel 135 includes an under cover 25 and a crank case 56 for leading cooling air to the heat radiating fins 85. A lead-out louver 89 is the lead-out port provided at an upper half part 74a of a left cover 74 and discharges cooling air rising along the heat radiating fins 58 to the outside of a case 17.
