<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet bowl system which prevents a manual rotational operation from becoming harder because a regenerative electric current flows through a drive motor, when a trap tube is manually elevated/lowered on the occurrence of a power failure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This toilet bowl system makes a leading end of the trap tube lowered or elevated by the normal or reverse running of the drive motor M. A driving means of the trap tube is equipped with a direct-current drive motor M, and an electric current switching means which is composed of an H-bridge circuit. A circuit for backup, which leads to ground G from between a high-voltage portion V and a P-ch MOSFET (Pup or Pdw), branches, and a capacitor C for backup is provided in the circuit for backup. A diode D, which makes the electric current pass from the side of the capacitor C to the side of the P-ch MOSFET (Pup or Pdw), is provided between the capacitor C and the P-ch MOSFET (Pup or Pdw).
