<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation wall which is easy to be construct and good in heat insulation properties. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The heat insulation wall 1 is formed of an internal wall 2 of an existing building, which defines an indoor space; a plurality of furring strips 6 fixed to an indoor surface of the internal wall 2; a vacuum heat insulation material 4 in which core portions each obtained by negatively pressurizing and sealing a core 12 with sheathing materials 11, and having the core 12 between the sheathing materials 11, are arranged in a manner almost making contact with an indoor surface of the internal wall 2 at locations between the adjacent furring strips 6, 6; a board material 8 fixed to the furring strips 6 so as to cover the vacuum heat insulation material 4 from the indoor side; and wall paper 9 stuck to the board material 8. Herein each furring strip 6 has a thickness equal to or thicker than that of the core portion. Further in the vacuum heat insulation material 4, both the sheathing materials 11 between which the core 12 is absent, tightly adhere to each other, and the tightly adhering sheathing materials 11 are thermally welded to each other. Therefore all areas where the sheathing materials 11 tightly adhere to each other, are thermally welded to each other, and only part of the thermally welded portions of the vacuum heat insulation material 4 are located between the furring strips 6 and the board material 8.
