<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle body front part from being concentratedly and largely deformed when impact force due to a front collision during traveling of a vehicle is imparted to the vehicle body front part, and to attain the prevention of the deformation by suppressing an increase of the weight of the vehicle body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This vehicle body front part structure is provided with an upper member 11 projectingly provided from a middle part 6 of the longitudinal direction of a front pillar 4 toward the front. Each of the front pillar 4 and the upper member 11 is provided with outer and inner panels 22, 23, 40 and 41 facing to each other in a width direction of the vehicle body 2. In a front sectional view (Fig.1) of the vehicle body 2, a first reinforcing plate 28 for forming closed sections 36 and 37 in cooperation with the outer and inner panels 22 and 23 of the front pillar 4, and a second reinforcing plate 53 for forming closed sections 57 and 61 in cooperation with the outer and inner panels 40 and 41 of the upper member 11 are provided.
