PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermostat cartridge for a combination faucet which does not hinder hot and cold water from flowing into a hot water inlet and a cold water inlet after mounting a strainer even when the strainer is mounted on an outer surface side of the hot water inlet and the cold water inlet to prevent a foreign substance from intruding into a cylindrical body. SOLUTION: The thermostat cartridge for the combination faucet is provided with the cylindrical body 6 having the hot water inlet H and the cold water inlet I for communicating with a hot water introduction flow passage and a cold water introduction flow passage formed for a combination faucet body in a barrel part 8 and the strainer 10 consisting of a belt-like tabular member M having many through-holes 11 and mounted at an outer surface side of the hot water inlet and the cold water inlet by being wound around an outer circumference of the barrel part. Slits 13, 13a capable of mounting the plate member respectively to outer surface sides of the hot water inlet and the cold water inlet. The slits are provided in a direction along an axis B of the cylindrical body on the outer circumference of the barrel part and the many through-holes are formed over the whole surface of an area R which is wound around the outer circumference of the barrel part of the plate member except for respective folding parts.
