<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic information providing system, can efficiently provid traffic information while properly maintaining traffic conditions without disturbing a driver's concentration to driving by providing information for each lane. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The traffic information providing system 10 includes a roadside processor 11 which creates and output traffic information for each lane 1a-1c, and an information providing device 14 (optical beacons 15A-15C, and display boards 16A-16C, 17 and 18) capable of providing the information for each lane 1a-1c to a vehicle in response to instructions from the roadside processor 22.
