<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance quick performance when exhaust gas is fed into an intake path. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the exhaust gas recirculation device, an heat exchanger 25 is provided on the way of an exhaust-gas delivery pipe 23 connected to an exhaust manifold 20. In the heat exchanger 25, a plurality of flat pipes 38 are provided in an outer shell 26. The inside 383 of the flat pipe 38 is each allowed to communicate with the inside of the exhaust-gas delivery pipe 23, and at the same time, is allowed to communicate with the inside 172 of an intake pipe 17. The exhaust gas is allowed to flow in the inside of the flat pipe 38, refrigerant is allowed to flow through the outside of the flat pipe 38.
