The clothing comprises a basic structure load-bearing in longitudinal direction of the cover, and a rope-like structure (1), which is formed by yarns (2a, 2b) and provided in the area of the load-bearing basic structure. The yarns in the rope-like structure form meshes (3a, 3b) suspended in each other. The meshes, which are viewed in the circumferential direction of the rope-like structure, are arranged next to each other in the rope-like structure. The rope-like structure is formed by mesh rows (4a, 4b) extending in the circumferential direction of the rope-like structure. The clothing comprises a basic structure load-bearing in longitudinal direction of the cover, and a rope-like structure (1), which is formed by yarns (2a, 2b) and provided in the area of the load-bearing basic structure. The yarns in the rope-like structure form meshes (3a, 3b) suspended in each other. The meshes, which are viewed in the circumferential direction of the rope-like structure, are arranged next to each other in the rope-like structure. The rope-like structure is formed by mesh rows (4a, 4b) extending in the circumferential direction of the rope-like structure and extending parallel to the longitudinal axis (L) of the rope-like structure. The mesh bars (5, 5') of the rope-like structure helically run around the longitudinal axis of the rope-like structure. The rope-like structure is produced by circular knitting. A reinforcement yarn, which extends itself in its longitudinal direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the rope-like structure, is arranged within the rope-like structure, is a monofilament yarn or multi-filament yarn, and is a multi-component yarn, where one component of the yarn has a smaller compression module than the other component of the yarn. The multi-component yarn is formed by a core component and a lateral component covering the core component, where the lateral component has a smaller compression module than the core component. The core component is formed by polyamide multi-filament yarn. The reinforcement yarn forms a part of the load-bearing basic structure. The longitudinal axis of the rope-like structure extends in the longitudinal direction of the cover. The basic structure comprises a scrim, which comprises helically winded longitudinal yarns extending itself in the longitudinal direction of the clothing and transverse to the longitudinal direction of the cover, where one of the longitudinal yarns is formed by the reinforcement yarn. The basic structure comprises fabric, which is formed from longitudinal yarns extending itself in longitudinal direction of the clothing and from transverse yarns extending transverse to the longitudinal yarns, where the transverse yarns are interweaved with the longitudinal yarns, where one of the longitudinal yarns and/or the transverse yarns is formed by the reinforcement yarn. The rope-like structure is arranged next to the longitudinal yarns and/or the transverse yarns and extends parallel to the longitudinal yarns and/or the transverse yarns. The basic structure has an upper side pointing to the fibrous material web and a lower side pointing to the machine, where the upper and/or lower sides are needled with a fiber non-woven layer. The fibers of the fiber non-woven layer needled with the basic structure are anchored in the meshes of the rope-like structure.
