Said door is characterized in that the armored plate (12) is attached remotely from the structure and separated from the latter by first intermediate deformable means (14) capable of absorbing part of the energy of an impact, the armored plate (12) further being greater in size than the structure (7), and by second intermediate deformable means (15) interposed between the edge (R) of the armored plate (12) and a wall (8) of the passenger compartment surrounding the opening (10).</p>
