The present invention relates to a method and a system for entry and exit management using biometrics, including the steps of: acquiring biometric data of an objective person; comparing the biometric data acquired in the previous step and biometric data stored in a biometric database to calculate a similarity; and determining the person as normal if the similarity falls in a predetermined range, and opening/closing a door. The biometric database manages a plurality of biometric data for one person in connection with a biometric data acquisition date, and a part of the biometric data stored in the biometric database is updated with the recent biometric data in connection with the acquisition date, or the biometric data having a low authentication success frequency are updated with the biometric data having the highest similarity among the biometric data the authentication of which has succeeded. |
