<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel of high reliability, which prevents troubles such as intrusion of foreign matters. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the liquid crystal display panel includes: a step (a) of forming a resin layer on the surface of a large-sized plate-laminated substrate; a step (b) of processing the resin layer to form a microlens array 14 and a supporting member 26 and forming a protective layer so as to cover the microlens array 14 and the supporting member 26; a step (c) of obtaining a plurality of liquid crystal display panels by cutting the large-sized plate-laminated substrate; and a step (d) of washing the liquid crystal display panels after the step (c). In the step (b), an air hole 27 connecting an inside space to an outside space and having an end part on the outside space side closed is formed in the supporting member 26. The steps (c) and (d) are executed in a state wherein the end part on the outside space side of the air hole 27 is closed.
